Sol Principe Principito description
The three star Sol Principe Hotel is situated on the Playamar seaside promenade in Torremolinos, right on the sea front. The city centre of Torremolinos, heart of the Costa del Sol, is one mile away, the international airport five miles, within a radius of 10 miles there are three golf courses and the city of Malaga is nine miles away.
The hotel comprises the Sol Principe Hotel with 623 rooms in three connecting blocks with large public areas, lounges and lobby and the Sol Principito Apartments. All of the facilities are open to all guests, including three open-air swimming pools, one of them for children, set in spacious gardens and terraces and an indoor heated pool, bar, 24 reception, shops, hairdresser, supermarket, internet corner, tennis court and a meeting and banqueting room for up to 400 guests.
The restaurant offers views over the sea and a complete hot and cold buffet service for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are also two cafeterias with mixed dishes and snacks, two pool-side bars in summer, the El Turco' piano bar and the Divania' coffee shop terrace with its orchestra and dancing in summer, as well an extensive daytime and evening entertainment programme. The different activities are coordinated by the entertainment staff and vary according to the weather and season. The Alcazaba' hall offers an entertaining show every evening in winter, and the Ali Bába' discotheque complements the offer.
There are sports activities such as archery, shooting, tennis, volleyball, table tennis, aerobic, keep fit and aqua aerobics, bowls, darts and sol' games. There is a children's playground and children from five to 12 have the Mini Club at their disposal all year round, whereas those from 13 to 17 can enjoy themselves at the Teenagers Club in summer.
Each guestroom at the Sol Principe hotel has a terrace and side view to the sea, bathroom with hair-dryer, air-conditioning in summer (from July 1 to September 30) and central heating in winter, telephone and safety deposit box.
