Hotel Alcoba del Rey is located in the Macarena neighborhood in a renovated manor house, the site of a former Mudejar palace. The establishment is a unique Boutique Hotel, which follows a Mudejar theme throughout the building and rooms. With a total of 15 rooms, the hotel offers guests more intimacy and personalized attention. This intimacy and the qualities in both the facilities and service make this a good alternative to some of the larger four star hotels. The Hotel is convenient to the Alameda, calle Feria and the Guadalquivir river.

The hotel was just completed in December 2004 and all the facilities are of the newest construction. Guests can choose to relax in two sitting areas in the main lobby, or dine from a traditional Andalusian menu with a Moroccan twist, in the bar and restaurant. A large roof top terrace provides views of the surrounding park, old city walls and the Macarena church.

Each room is different and uniquely decorated, bearing the names of famous poets or other important historical figures. All rooms except one ground floor room have exterior windows or balconies, offering plenty of natural light. The Junior Suite has 5 balconies to the two streets below, including a large bathroom and hand painted, Mudejar style ceilings. All living quarters have in room internet access and LCD television with remote control.
