Welcome to the The Hotel Arts in Barcelona - Towering over Port Olimpic, this 44-story luxury hotel lies steps from Las Ramblas promenade and the Liceu Opera House, and two km (one mile) from Gaudí’s Sagrada Família church. Home to an impressive collection of paintings and sculptures, the hotel also has an extensive fitness center with sauna, and a year-round outdoor swimming pool and spa tub. Modern furnishings decorate the 482 guestrooms, which include large picture windows, mood lighting, marble baths with separate tubs and showers, and high-speed Internet access.
What to expect: The largest hotel in the city is also the tallest building in Spain. Despite having almost 500 guest rooms, it maintains a calm and relaxed ambience. Over 1,000 works of art are displayed the walls, and the hotel also has acres of marble and plenty of greenery. Its outdoor areas enjoy sea breezes. The hotel attracts a 50/50 split of business and leisure travelers.
Amenity highlights: The design hotel has a fitness center with extensive facilities and an outdoor swimming pool with spa tub. Business facilities include a total of 14 function rooms. The largest, the Gran Salo Gaudi, is the largest ballroom space in the city. The Bar Marina and Café Veranda both offer light Mediterranean cuisine and the chance to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine in summer.
Insider tip: On Saturdays guided tours of the hotel’s extensive art collection are available. The one hour tours explore the largely Spanish works and end with afternoon tea complete with a live harp accompaniment.

The hotel has a range of 14 function rooms. The largest, the Gran Salo Gaudi, is the largest ballroom space in the city. The team behind the conference facilities is very flexible and a myriad of events can be organized, from large conferences and exhibitions, through to private parties and weddings. The latest audio-visual technology is also available.
This hotel has 482 guestrooms, decorated in either blue or beige with light wood furniture. Large windows bring in plenty of natural light. Bathrooms have separate bath tubs and showers. All deluxe rooms have views of the Mediterranean Sea or back towards the city.
Bar Marina - This open-air informal restaurant is only open in the summer. On the menu are pizzas that are cooked in a wood-fired oven in the open kitchen. Other options include grilled meat, fish and salad. Bar Marina also offers a range of freshly squeezed fruit juices.
Café Veranda - Breakfasts are buffet style, as is lunch with hot and cold dishes available. No dinner service. Sunday brunches are becoming something of a Barcelona institution with a variety of chefs on hand to create a smorgasbord of hot and cold dishes. An outdoor terrace area is open only in the summer months.
The outdoor swimming pool and spa tub are open year round but the pool is not heated. The Mediterranean Sea is just in front of the hotel. There are beaches where a range of watersports are available in summer months. The Olympic Port is also by the hotel with its own marina.
