Welcome to the Best Western Alfa Airport Hotel in Barcelona - This gleaming white hotel at the entrance to the Zona Franca is two km (one mile) from El Prat Airport and four km (two miles) from the Olympic Port and the Galería Olímpica. Guests can unwind in the indoor pool and sauna, dine on fresh market fare in Gran Mercat, and enjoy complimentary shuttle service to the airport and downtown. All 99 air-conditioned guestrooms are decorated in a folk-art motif and have built-in double wardrobes, radios, satellite TV with pay movies, Internet access, and minibars.
The hotel is currently remodeling the swimming pool and sauna/fitness areas. During this time, the hotel will offer guests the following complimentary services:
Complimentary transfer and complimentary entry to the nearest sport centre (five minutes away) where a running court, gym, Olympic pool, sauna, cardiovascular room, and squash courts are available. Typical dishes include Sea Bream Baked in Salt with Steamed Vegetables, Beef Entrecote with Cabrales Cheese, and Squid with Baby Broad Beans.
Lounge/bar/cafeteria - An abundance of armchairs and sofas make this a pleasant place to sit and enjoy a drink or light meal of sandwiches, pizza, or tapas. Complimentary international newspapers are available and a wide screen TV is also provided.
